Some really great ideas here. Great idea instead of disincentivizing them. Even better that they not only included the options of going earlier or later but also allowed taking alternative forms of transportation and taking other routes or working at home to count. One of the researchers had a great quote:
“It takes many people to create congestion but surprisingly few to get rid of it.”

An innovative initiative is taking place in the Philippines to bring sustainable lighting to homes in impoverished communities. Empty plastic bottles are installed in the roof, filled with water and bleach they refract sunlight. These “solar light bulbs” provide light equivalent to a 55watt light bulb.

German solar power plants produced a world record 22 gigawatts of electricity per hour - equal to 20 nuclear power stations at full capacity - through the midday hours on Friday and Saturday, the head of a renewable energy think tank said.

Can we have this tech now please? I know coal is fun and everything, but yeah, renewable energy from the sun sounds pretty good right now.
I don’t think people realize how much Germany destroys us when it comes to sustainable energy.

If she is right, we’re the proverbial frog in a pot: As long as the water warms at rates that are not easily perceptible, we’ll be frog soup before we realize it’s too late.
